Selling Removable Hard Drives, Trays, and Carriers

One of my projects at is to prepare to sell about 100 hard drives and their removable trays+carriers. Nobody knows the brand, but there is one US Patent number on the carriers: 5563767. Google shows lots of patent sites with that record, and sure enough, the drawings included with the patent do indicate this is the product. Also, here is the description in the patent text:

Drawer Type Hard Diskdrive Adaptor to Chen provides a hard disk drive that is slid into the personal computer between a pair of guide rails.

I don’t really see this “carrier” as they describe, as “a hard disk drive.” Rather, this unit is actually the “pair of guide rails,” into which a hard drive slides. But we are also selling the trays– about 100 of them– with ATA/IDE hard drives mounted inside them, in sizes ranging from 200 GB to 500 GB. They’re 3.5″, 7200rpm drives from Hitachi, Maxtor, Seagate, and Western Digital.

Now I just wish I could find a brand and model for the carriers and trays. Samsung is listed as the copyright holder. I wonder if there is a way to match a patent to the commercial product that was made from it… That’d be super-useful right now!
